Swansea City Under-23s Porto International Cup

1st March

Swansea City Under-23s have been drawn at home against Porto in the semi-final of the Premier League International Cup.
A hat-trick from Adam King alongside goals from Daniel James and Oli McBurnie saw the young Swans beat German side Hertha Berlin 5-1 in the quarter-final at Liberty Stadium on Tuesday.
Victories over Leicester City and Wolfsburg as well as a draw with Liverpool ensured Porto finished top of their group before a 2-0 quarter-final victory over Manchester United this month.

The match will be played at the Liberty Stadium by April 15, with a fixed date to be confirmed.
Teams competing in the PL International Cup are made up of Under-23 players, aside from a maximum of three outfield players and the goalkeeper, who can be born before January 1, 1993.
In the knockout stages, the ties are decided in one-off matches, with extra-time and then penalties required if the match is level after 90 minutes.
Manchester City won the competition last season with Villarreal B lifting the trophy in it's debut season.
