Swansea City Under-23s Ryan Blair Brighton

20th November

Ryan Blair believes three consecutive cup games will boost Swansea City Under-23s' Premier League 2 campaign when they host Brighton at Landore on Monday (7pm).
The young Swans are two points clear at the top of Division 2 with seven wins from nine games, while the Seagulls sit ninth in the table.
The 19-year-old, who has made 13 appearances this season, featured in all three cup games in early November, including the Checkatrade Trophy victory over Plymouth Argyle.
And Blair, who joined the Swans from Scottish Championship side Falkirk in January, believes there is more to come from the development squad in the coming weeks.
"I'm not surprised by the start to the season we have had," the midfielder said. "We have a really good squad with a lot of depth.
"Consistent rotation of the team is only helping develop more players and strengthens the squad. I am enjoying the amount of game time we are getting.
"To get through to the next stage of the Checkatrade Trophy with a win over the League Two leaders was a big achievement for us.
"Those games have been much more of a challenge but they have definitely helped us develop, and we have taken that progress back into the league.
"We have built a successful home record - we don't want that to end and want to continue to impress against Brighton on Monday with the aim of another three points."

Swans U23s face Brighton in Premier League 2 at Landore on Monday, November 21 (7pm). Entry is FREE but fans are reminded there is no parking at the Landore facility.
