Swansea City face Wigan Athletic at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday November 5 in their final home match ahead of the World Cup break, and we have put together a matchday guide to help ensure you enjoy your visit.

Russell Martin's men have recorded four consecutive home wins and will be hoping to continue that when they host the Latics.

The match will be the club's dedicated Remembrance match with 100 armed forces veterans invited to attend the game.

Elsewhere, the club have teamed up with Pure Football and The Boot Room to hold a 'bootdrive' with collections taking place outside the club store, while there are also a number of match activities taking place in the Family Stand.

Details of the activities taking place at the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday are below.

Specific for Saturday's match

New in the family Stand

RolyPoly entertainment will be hosting a pre-game dance and disco with party games and prizes to be won.

Additionally, Swansea City charity partner Noah’s Ark Children’s Hospital will be doing face painting for a suggested donation of £3 which will go to support children who use the hospital.

Buzz Trampoline will also be on site with giveaways and competitions for Junior Jacks to enjoy.

Join the Boot Room Bootdrive

The Boot Room Bootdrive will be taking place on Saturday. Supporters will be able to donate old boots – in good condition – to the charity, who then provide the footwear to children and young people across the city who cannot afford it.

The academy, senior men’s and ladies’ teams have already contributed by donating boots and clothing with supporters able to do the same on the weekend.

Pure Football vans will be located near the club store for supporters to use as a drop off point.

Dedicated Remembrance game

One hundred armed forces veterans have been invited to the Swansea.com Stadium on Saturday to attend the Championship match between the Swans and Wigan.

Some of them have been invited onto the pitch to form a second guard of honour to welcome the team out of the tunnel.

The captains will lay a poppy wreath in the centre of the pitch before a period of silence is observed ahead of kick-off.

Swansea City players will be playing in bespoke football shirts with the Royal Legion poppy on the front and these shirts will be auctioned by MatchWornShirts, with the proceeds donated to the Royal British Legion.

Details of how to bid on the Swans match worn shirts will be released after the match.
