Swansea City's Michel Vorm and Jonathan de Guzman's delight at World Cup progression

29th June

Swansea City's Michel Vorm was on the substitutes bench along with Jonathan de Guzman as Holland completed a stunning late win over Mexico in their World Cup last 16 tie.
Both were unused as Louis van Gaal's Dutch side scored twice in the last three minutes to complete a dramatic comeback victory to end Mexico's hopes.
Giovani dos Santos had put Mexico ahead three minutes after the break in a game which took in two separate breaks for drinks as the soaring temperature in Fortaleza rose to 38 degrees.
But the Dutch left it late to stun the Mexicans, with Wesley Sneijder firing into the bottom corner following a corner in the 88th minute before sub Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored from the penalty spot after Arjen Robben was fouled in the box.
