Tate completes season-long loan move to Crewe

5th January

Swansea City defender Alan Tate has returned to League One club Crewe on loan for the rest of the season.
Tate, 32, has already made seven appearances for Crewe following a temporary move earlier this term. He helped Crewe to four wins - including three clean sheets - during his time at the club, and the centre-back will spend the remainder of the campaign with Steve Davis' side, who sit just two points from safety in League One after 23 games.
Tate, who has made 340 appearances for the Swans, is now available to feature in Crewe's home clash with Gillingham on Saturday.
