Tate extends Leeds loan

2nd January

Swans defender Alan Tate has today extended his loan deal at Leeds United to a second month.
Tate will now remain at Elland Road until January 27 as he looks to help Leeds push towards the play-offs with the club just two pints off sixth place.
"I'm enjoying it,'' said Tate. "I'm playing football on a regular basis, which is what every footballer wants.''
Leeds boss Neil Warnock has been singing Tate's praises since his switch to Yorkshire.
"The extra month gives Alan and ourselves an opportunity to see what's what,'' explained Warnock. "If we're both happy then I'm sure he'll stop until the end of the season.
"It gives us some breathing space.''
