Taylor features as Wales are held by Georgia
9th October 2016
Swansea City defender Neil Taylor started as Wales were held to a disappointing 1-1 draw by Georgia in their World Cup qualifier in Cardiff.
Chris Coleman's side made a flying start after Gareth Bale headed home Joe Ledley's corner after ten minutes, but the hosts failed to push on from that point.
The visitors dug in and were rewarded for their efforts with an equaliser just before the hour mark. Georgia also struck the crossbar and missed a one-on-one opportunity as they looked for a shock winner.
But the home side, for whom Taylor played 70 minutes before being replaced, were forced to settle for a point.
