Taylor signs new contract
1st June
Swansea City have been handed a pre-season boost with the news that Neil Taylor has signed a new four-year contract.
The defender, who had a year remaining on his previous deal, has put pen-to-paper to keep him at the Liberty Stadium until the summer of 2019.
The 26-year-old was ever-present for Garry Monk's side last season, making 36 appearances in all competitions as the Swans finished eighth in the Barclays Premier League.
Taylor arrived at the Liberty Stadium in 2010 from Conference side Wrexham and has made over 130 appearances for the club as well as being capped 21 times by Wales.
The left-back will now link up with the Wales squad as Chris Coleman's side prepare for a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier against Belgium in Cardiff on June 12.
