7th April

Swansea 2-0 Walsall
Division Three - Saturday, 7 April 1990
Paul Raynor and John Hughes were on target as the Swans beat Walsall to boost their chances of survival.
The victory started a run of three straight wins, but the club soon found itself back in the relegation zone after picking up just one point in their next three league fixtures.
However, a 0-0 draw against Bolton on the final day of the season was enough to ensure the Swans stayed in the Third Division.
Raynor - who scored in that victory over Walsall - finished top scorer that season with just six goals as Swansea ended the campaign 17th in the table - four points clear of danger.

SWANS: Bracey, D'Auria, Coleman, Melville, Harris, Thornber, Raynor, James, Hughes, Walker, Legg.
