FA Cup Third Round - Saturday, January 8 2011
The Swans earned a well deserved victory against Colchester United to book their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup. 
Swans' captain Garry Monk gave the hosts a 1-0 lead with a header from a Mark Gower cross shortly before the skipper was forced off due to an injury. 
Midfielder Darren Pratley doubled Swansea's lead before the break by netting a powerful, right-footed shot. 
In the second-half, a Cedric van der Gun close range goal made it 3-0 for Brendan Rodgers' side. 
Scott Sinclair sealed the win for the home side eight minutes from time when he calmly finished past Colchester keeper Ben Williams and enabled the Swans' to progress into the fourth round.
