Swansea City 1 Yeovil Town 0

Guillem Bauza scored his fourth goal in three games to send the Swans through to the southern section semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

The striker headed into an empty net on 41 minutes after Alan Tate's header from a corner had been blocked.

Swansea were lucky to escape earlier in the half when Tate cleared off the line after a goal-mouth scramble.

Swansea had the best chance of a tight second-half when Darryl Duffy's shot was saved after a flowing move.

In a frantic final quarter, Yeovil's Nathan Jones and Lloyd Owusu came close but Swansea held on to book their place in the last four.

Swans line-up: De Vries, Amankwaah, Tate, Monk, Austin, Orlandi, Pratley, Allen, Anderson (Butler, 50), Bauza (Bodde, 57), Duffy (Scotland, 83).
