A twice-taken penalty from Lee Trundle saw the Swans earn all three points against promotion rivals Bristol Rovers at the Vetch.
Rovers defender Robbie Ryan fouled Trundle inside the box with two minutes to go and although visiting keeper Kevin Miller parried his initial effort over the bar, the referee ordered a re-take after Miller was deemed to have stepped off his line.
And Trundle made no mistake second time round as he coolly slotted home to give Swansea a crucial win.

Swans line-up: Gueret, Ricketts, Austin, Monk, Gurney, O'Leary, Martinez, Britton, Forbes (Maylett, 81), Trundle, Connor (Nugent, 64).
