22nd September

Crystal Palace 0 Swans 2
Premier League - Sunday, September 22, 2013
The Swans completed a superb week as they signed off with a comfortable 2-0 win at newly-promoted Crystal Palace to rise into the top half of the table.
Michu opened the scoring with the quickest goal of the Barclays Premier League season as he fired home with just 80 seconds on the clock.
The Swans went close to adding to their lead in the first half, Chico Flores hitting the post before seeing another effort chested off the line while Angel Rangel's powerful volley was tipped over by Julian Speroni.
But the Swans ensured they would be taking the points back to South West Wales in the 48th minute as debutant Alvaro Vazquez teed up Nathan Dyer, and the winger slotted home from close range.
The victory, a second consecutive away win in the league, completed a week which started with a 2-2 draw with Liverpool at the Liberty before a famous 3-0 victory over Valencia at the Mestalla in the Europa League.
