24th September

Swansea 1-1 Nottingham Forest
League One - Saturday, 24 September 2005
A superb strike from Roberto Martinez salvaged a point for league leaders Swansea at a sold-out Liberty Stadium.
Jack Lester had given the visitors the lead, pouncing on a loose ball after an excellent Willy Gueret save from David Johnson's 53rd-minute shot.
But Forest sat back hoping to hold on for the victory - and the home side fought back.
Marc Goodfellow blazed over from six yards, but with five minutes left good build-up work helped Martinez blast in from 18 yards to keep the Swans top.

SWANS: Gueret, Ricketts, Tate, Monk, Iriekpen, Martinez, Britton, McLeod (Goodfellow, 74), Bean (Robinson, 61), Akinfenwa, Trundle.

FOREST: Hoult, Eaden, Morgan, Breckin, Thompson, Southall, Commons (Fernandez, 86), Friio, Perch, Lester (Gardner, 75), Johnson.
