Tom Carroll believes Swansea City are heading in the right direction

7th February

Tom Carroll believes the Swans are heading in the right direction after making a promising start to the new year.
The Swans won three of their four league games in January - beating Crystal Palace, Liverpool and Southampton - as they picked up precious points under new head coach Paul Clement.
Last weekend's last-gasp defeat at Manchester City meant the Swans left the Etihad point-less, but they took many positives from their performance.
Clement's side now face defending champions Leicester City, who are level with the Swans on 21 points - just one point above third bottom Hull City.
And Carroll feels the squad go into the game buoyed by the progress made in 2017.

"It has been a very positive few weeks for us. We are going in the right direction," said Carroll, who joined the Swans from Tottenham Hotspur last month.
"We have played some big teams and picked up massive results to put the teams around us under pressure. We didn't get anything at Manchester City - I felt we deserved a point - but we came away knowing we can take positives from it.
"It's a real battle at the bottom, but we are concentrating solely on ourselves. Every game for us is massive, and Sunday is no exception."

Sunday's fixture with the Foxes at the Liberty (4pm) has now sold out.
All general tickets have been snapped up for the game in SA1 on Sunday (4pm), with the ticket exchange now available until 4pm on Friday.
However, there are hospitality packages currently still available for this game.
