Train like the Swans at Cwmdu

Budding footballers can book to be a part of a six-week training programme with Swansea City.
The clubs new Development and Pre-Academy Centre will be fully open for business from Monday, September 15.
The facility at Cwmdu launched last month, with two weeks of soccer camps where Swans coaches worked with players from ages five to 11 to deliver structured football training.
The centre is now taking bookings for six-week coaching sessions for boys and girls who want to continue to train with the Premier League club.
The first block of training programme dates for 2014 are from Monday, September 15 until November 1.
Booking Details:
Pre-Academy & Development Boys Sessions:
Will run every night of the week - Monday to Friday - with structured training and skills sessions from qualified coaches at Swansea City.
Under-5, 6 & 7s - two hours training a week
Cost: £50 for six weeks
Under-8, 9 & 10s - three hours training a week
Cost: £60 for six weeks
Goalkeeping sessions:
Open to boys aged seven to 11 with training aimed at progressing the skills of young keepers - they take place every Friday, first session, September 19 .
AGE/GROUP TIMES:
U8s: 5pm-6pm
U9s: 6pm-7pm
U10s/U11s: 7pm-8pm
Cost: £30 for six sessions
Please note: Spaces are limited to 10 per age group. Please sign-up early to avoid disappointment.
Monday night girls session:
Following the successful launch of Swans Girls Development, Monday nights will also be a dedicated coaching night for girls at the Cwmdu Development and Pre-Academy Centre.
Under-8s - 4:30pm/5:30pm
Under-10s - 5:30pm/6:30pm
Cost: £30 for six weeks
Please note: Any child that signs up for the six weeks MUST look to attend ALL sessions. No refund will be available for any sessions missed.
Saturday Fun Sessions:
As well as the six-week coaching sessions on weekday evenings, Saturday mornings have also been opened up for children to get involved in hour-long fun and active football skills.
AGES & TIMES:
- 5 / 6 - 9am to 10am
- 7 / 8 - 10am to 11am
- 9 / 10 - 11am to 12pm
Cost: £30 for 6 weeks
Free bottles of water will be available for players in the first instance.
