The January transfer window is open and the Swans are likely to be linked with names across the world.
Some will seem reasonable, some ridiculous, therefore we are going to keep you updated with all the rumours regarding transfers.
Swans boss Michael Laudrup has already been knocking back rumours for the likes of Frank Lampard and David Villa, saying. "The only Villa arriving at the Liberty on January 1st will be Aston Villa".

Transfer rumours:

 - Swansea are ready to sign Real Betis midfielder Jose Canas for £200,000, according to The Sun.

Betis expected him to leave on a free in June but Canas, 25, has accepted Michael Laudrup's 18-month deal and will be released now.
Swansea have seen off Southampton, Bruges and Kaiserslautern to sign the Spaniard.

 - Media sources understand Swansea City are interested in Bolton Wanderers defender Marcos Alonso.

It's reported that the club is in the market for a left-back and could make a move in the January transfer window when it opens on Tuesday.
Swansea boss Michael Laudrup's son, Andreas, was a youth player at Real Madrid with Alonso.

 - Swansea City could face competition from Atletico Madrid for the signature of Iago Aspas.

According to Spanish paper AS, scouts from the Swans have watched the Celta Vigo striker, but Atletico are drawing up a bid for the 25-year-old.
