Tremmel: Points are precious

Gerhard Tremmel insists the Swans are ready to scrap it out with Spurs in search of precious Barclays Premier League points.
The Swans host Tim Sherwood's Tottenham at the Liberty on Sunday (1.30pm) as they target a first league win since the 3-0 victory over Newcastle last month.
After recent draws against Hull City, Norwich City and Aston Villa, the Swans have had a tough run of fixtures against the top sides and suffered defeats against Everton, Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United.
It has proved a frustrating run of results for Michael Laudrup's side, but Tremmel expects the Swans to roll their sleeves up this weekend as they look for a change in fortunes.
"We obviously haven't got the points we wanted from the last few Premier League games," said the German keeper.
"There have been good phases in our performances but we need to do it for the whole 90 minutes.
"Perhaps we need to scrap it out in the periods of the game where we are not on top. 
"Look at Manchester City - they went ahead early at Newcastle, and then they were under a lot of pressure after that. But Manchester City dug deep and had to grind out the result.
"That's what we need at the moment. A win would extend the gap between ourselves and the bottom three - and the teams around us.
"It would not only be points, it would give us a boost to get back to winning ways."
The Swans are currently 13th in the top flight and just three points off 18th-placed Cardiff City after 21 games.
But Tremmel revealed the squad isn't feeling the pressure of being involved in a potential relegation battle.
"We have a very good squad and I think we have shown our confidence in the last few games," added the 35-year-old. "We are not playing as if there is huge pressure on us, and that is important.
"If you play as if you are feeling the pressure, you will do something you wouldn't usually do and that leads to mistakes which could prove very costly.
"But I am confident we can get the results we need to start moving up the table and also to create a gap between the bottom clubs and ourselves.
"Sunday's game with Tottenham is very important, and we have another crucial home match with Fulham following our FA Cup tie with Birmingham City.
"It's about picking up points now, and it's up to us to do that."
