U18s hoping to build momentum, says Jefferies

Defender Daniel Jefferies wants Swansea City Under-18s to build on their first win of the campaign when they face Aston Villa in Premier League South at Landore (11am) on Saturday.
The young Swans earned their opening victory of the season earlier this month with a 3-0 win over Leicester City thanks to a brace from striker Liam Cullen and a strike from winger Causso Darame.
And Jefferies, who has started all seven of the U18s' league games so far this season, believes they can build on that victory against eighth-placed Villa.
"It was great to get our first win of the season against Leicester," said the 17-year-old centre-back. "We've been working hard for that result, so it is a huge relief for the team to finally get three points in the league.
"It was a team effort. We worked hard throughout the game and showed good discipline. Our aim now must be to build on that result and continue to progress our performances and results.
"We have to put the bad results behind us and go forward with confidence. Another win would lift us up the table.
"We are keen to compete this season against some of the best teams in the division. We know we have what it takes to beat the big teams, now we need to prove we can do it.
"We are unbeaten at home and want to keep that run going this weekend, but we know we can improve even further and turn draws into wins.
"We are looking good ahead of our match against Villa this weekend. If we keep working hard as a team then more goals and results will come."
