U23s to play quarter-final this Friday

2nd April

Swansea City Under-23s will face Brighton in the quarter-final of the Premier League Cup at Landore this Friday, April 6 (7pm).

A double from Botti Biabi and goals from Kenji Gorre and Adnan Maric ensured the young Swans continued their title defence with a 4-2 win over Bristol City in the last 16 last week.

Brighton finished second in Group H before beating Everton 3-0 to set up Friday’s quarter-final tie, a result which extended their unbeaten run to 11 games.

Swansea defeated the Seagulls at the same stage of the competition last season, with Kenji Gorre scoring the only goal en route to lifting the cup.

Entry to Friday’s game will be FREE, but fans are reminded there is no parking at Landore training ground.
