Under-21s set for play-off final at the Liberty

13th May

The Under-21s are looking to end their season on a high when they face Huddersfield Town in the Development League Two play-off final at the Liberty Stadium on Wednesday (7.30pm).
The development squad booked their place in the final following a dramatic penalty shoot-out victory over Nottingham Forest last week.
Huddersfield beat Crystal Palace 5-3 in the other semi-final, while the Terriers did beat Swansea back in March following a 3-1 victory in Yorkshire.
And coach Chris Llewellyn is hoping that the squad can finish their season with a piece of silverware in front a good crowd at the Liberty.
"Everyone is really looking forward to the game," he said. "Since the win over Forest our focus has been on the final and the players have trained extremely well. We deserve to be here and having got this far we now want to win it.
"It would be great to see as many fans there as possible. It's our last game of the season, the boys have done extremely well this year and we want to show people just how much we have developed."
Meanwhile, first-team boss Garry Monk has urged the Jack Army to get down to the Liberty Stadium and support the young Swans.
"It's great for our young players to have the chance to experience a big game like this and hopefully there will be a big crowd - they deserve that because they have been excellent this season," he said.
"They are the players you are hoping will come through in the future to the first team and the crowd will help them along.
"It's excellent to see them in the final. I have watched them closely this season and they have deserved it."

Entry for tonight's game is FREE for season ticket holders and £1 for non-season ticket holders. This fixture will be uploaded automatically to supporters' season ticket cards, while supporters MUST bring their card with them in order to gain entry.
