Under-23s PL Cup opponents announced

Swansea City Under-23s will kick off the defence of their Premier League Cup in Group D against Newcastle United, Burnley and Colchester United.
The tournament splits teams into eight groups of four, with each playing their opposing club home and away. The top two teams advance to the knockout stage of the competition.
The young Swans beat Reading 2-0 in last season’s final to lift the title at the Liberty Stadium.
Dates for this season’s group fixtures will be announced soon.
