Vorm: Let's bounce back in Euro tie

18th August

Michel Vorm hailed the brilliance of fellow countryman Robin van Persie - then insisted the Swans have the perfect remedy to pick themselves up after a 4-1 opening defeat to Manchester United.
The champions started their new era under David Moyes in ruthless fashion at the Liberty, with van Persie scoring twice while Danny Welbeck also bagged a brace.
Vorm, who was on international duty with van Persie recently, was left helpless as the United striker again showed his class.
And he insisted van Persie's genius was the main ingredient behind the Swans' downfall.

"When you are up against van Persie, he can be pretty unplayable at times," said Vorm. "He was brilliant for them and scored two great goals. His left foot is so strong - it is very difficult to stop him.
"That's why he plays for the champions, and I think in their performance they showed why they are champions.
"I thought we played well in the first half and until their goal they didn't really do much to hurt us, but then van Persie gets a bit of space and punishes us."
The Swans travel to Tottenham Hotspur for their next Premier League fixture next Sunday, but they have an immediate chance to bounce back on Thursday as Petrolul Poliesti visit the Liberty in the Europa League.
And Vorm feels it is a good opportunity to move on from the United setback and build momentum for the trip to White Hart Lane.
"This was a disappointing result for us, but we have to move on," he added.
"We have a game on Thursday in Europe, and we must be focused on that match now.
"It's great that we have a game so quickly - particularly at home.
"Hopefully we can bounce back straight away. That would be a boost for us because we have a tough game at Spurs a few days after that."
