Vorm targets vital victory

6th November

Michel Vorm says the Swans have two big reasons to claim victory in Russia ahead of their Europa League Group Stage tie with Kuban Krasnodar.
Michael Laudrup's side take on Kuban on Thursday (9pm local time, 5pm GMT) as they look to go one step closer to qualifying for the knockout stages.
Their fixture against Kuban, based in the south of Russia, offers the Swans an opportunity to bounce back from the derby defeat to Cardiff last Sunday.
And Vorm believes victory will not only give them three vital points in Group A, but it will also go some way to repaying the Jack Army for the disappointing defeat to their rivals last weekend.

"This game is very important because we are close to winning the group," said the Dutch keeper, who was sent off late on against Cardiff.
"It's good to focus on important games like tomorrow (Thursday). It's important we make up for the last game.
"There were some small mistakes in the last game which we can learn from.
"It's a long trip for us, but we come here to win for the fans - we always play for the fans."
The Swans top Group A on seven points, with their last Europa tie ending in a 1-1 draw against Kuban at the Liberty after Djibril Cisse scored a last-gasp penalty.
Following Thursday night's fixture at the Kuban Stadium, the Swans then host Valencia before a final group game with St Gallen in Switzerland.
