It was truly an emotional roller-coaster for the Jack Army on New Year's Day, as the Swans ended up drawing with Aston Villa at the Liberty. Some will say the Swans should have won, some say we could have lost, but the point moves us to 8th in the table ahead of Wednesday night's fixtures. There were some outstanding performances, especially in the first half, so here is your final three. Both Wayne Routledge and Pablo Hernandez have made it this time, as their impact cutting in from the flanks was the difference early on in the match. As well as the two wide men, central defender Chico Flores, who played up against Aston Villa's current top scorer Christian Benteke, had a solid game at the back.
