It proved a memorable weekend on Merseyside for the Swans after Paul Clement's side recorded a first league victory against Liverpool at Anfield.
After a goalless first half, Fernando Llorente scored twice in four minutes to give the Swans a 2-0 lead against the Reds.
However, the hosts were soon back on level terms after Roberto Firmino's brace set up a tense finale.
But it was the Swans who would take home the three points, with Gylfi Sigurdsson's cool finish sending the visitors out of the relegation zone.
