Whose Coat is That Jacket?

‘Whose coat is that jacket?’ campaign starts on Monday

12th December

Swansea City, the Ospreys, and Ministry of Furniture are working together for those in need this Christmas with our 'Whose Coat is that Jacket?' campaign, which starts tomorrow (December 13).

Originally launched by the Swans as Give a Jack a Jacket back in 2016 the scheme aims to provide the homeless and those in need with warm layers of clothing to help them fight the chill at this time of year.

As part of the initiative, the Swans and the Ospreys will donate a number of club coats and jackets, and we are calling on supporters to join the effort with any donations of their own they would like to make.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters, over 2,000 donations were previously handed out to those in need, and the club is once again hoping to help people facing difficulties this winter.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been deeply felt throughout Swansea and the wider community when it comes to unemployment, homelessness and food provisions.

Swansea City has attempted to play its part in helping those in need in the local area during the pandemic, including aiding with donations of hot meals, and making the Swansea.com Stadium available for NHS staff training and as a Covid-19 testing centre.

In these hard times, the club is determined to do what it can to help the local community and, together with the Ospreys, in association with Ministry of Furniture, hope the 'Whose Coat is that Jacket?' initiative will keep as many people as possible warm this Christmas.

The drop off point for donations will be at main reception at the Swansea.com Stadium from Monday, December 13 to Sunday, December 19. Please ensure any clothing is in good condition and not faulty.

Drop off points for donations between December 13 and December 19 are as follows:
