Williams and Taylor earn Wales call-ups

26th August 2015

Swans duo Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor have been included in Wales' squad for their crucial Uefa Euro 2016 qualifiers against Cyprus and Israel.
Chris Coleman's side, who are three points clear at the top of Group B, travel to Nicosia to face Cyprus on September 3 before hosting Israel at the Cardiff City Stadium three days later.
Wales go into the games knowing two victories would seal their place at a major international tournament for the first time since 1958.
Williams, who is set to captain the side, will earn his 52nd cap while Taylor hopes to make his 23rd appearance for his country.
Meanwhile, Swans trio Josh Sheehan, Ryan Hedges and Owain Jones are part of Wales Under-21s' squad for the Uefa U21 qualifier against Luxembourg on Friday, 4 September 2015.
