Williams and Taylor star in Wales win

13th October

Swans duo Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor starred as Wales staged a heroic second-half effort to hold off Cyprus to claim a 2-1 win at the Cardiff City Stadium in their Euro 2016 qualifier.
Goals from ex-Swans winger David Cotterill, who came off the bench early on to replace the injured Simon Church, and Hal Robson-Kanu handed Wales a comfortable lead but the visitors hit back before the break via Vincent Laban.
Chris Coleman's side were then dealt a huge blow just two minutes into the second half as Andy King was shown a straight red card following a challenge on Constantinos Makridis.
But the hosts bravely held on to claim victory, which sees them top Group B with seven points from three games.
Meanwhile, Swans midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson scored both goals as Iceland beat Holland 2-0 in Reykavik.
It proved Sigurdsson's fourth goal in Iceland's three qualifying matches, which puts them joint top of Group A with a maximum nine points so far.
