Winning mentality is key to busy period, says Amat

14th December

Jordi Amat believes Swansea City must take their winning mentality to West Brom tonight in order to steer the club out of the Premier League relegation zone.
Bob Bradley's side head to The Hawthorns looking to climb back out of the bottom three after briefly moving out of it following a hugely convincing 3-0 win over Sunderland last Saturday.
West Ham's draw at Liverpool on Sunday meant the Swans moved down to 18th place at the end of last weekend's fixtures.
But, having won two of their last three matches, the Swans head to the Midlands with confidence and Amat feels a positive attitude is key in their latest Premier League encounter.

"This is a crucial time of the season with so many games in a short period of time," said Amat, who made his 14th appearance of the season last weekend.
"We have two away games coming up against West Brom and then Middlesbrough, while after that we are at home against West Ham and Bournemouth.
"It's a busy period, but now is the time to be positive and have a winning mentality. That is important.
"After this month we will have a clear indication of where we are in the table.
"If we can build on last weekend's result with another good performance and outcome against West Brom then it will be a good start.
"But we know how tough it is playing against West Brom at their place."

Swans supporters can pay on the day at West Brom.
Tickets will be available at the away kiosk next to the away turnstiles, and are priced:
£25: Adults
