Four Swansea City players have been named in the Wales Under-21 squad for their opening European Championship qualifiers against Belgium and Germany.

Ben Cabango, Brandon Cooper, Jack Evans and Liam Cullen have all been included for what will be Paul Bodin’s first matches in sole charge of the young Dragons.

Fresh from making his Swansea first-team debut against Northampton Town earlier this month, Cabango could win his second cap for the under-21s having made his bow in Albania over the summer.

Meanwhile, Cooper and Cullen could make their fourth appearance at this level, and Evans is included again after making his return to the international set-up in Albania.

Wales host Belgium in their opening qualifier at the Racecourse on September 6, before welcoming Euro 2019 runners-up Germany to the same venue four days later.

All four players were involved in Swansea’s pre-season training camp in Spain and Portugal under head coach Steve Cooper.
