Young Swans suffer defeat to Ipswich

Swansea City Under-21s suffered their first defeat of the season on Monday as they slipped to a 1-0 loss against Ipswich Town.
The home side, featuring five first team players, scored the winner late on as Elliott Hewitt got on the end of a Balint Bajner cross to head past goalkeeper David Cornell.
The visitors struggled to match the kind of form they showed against Coventry in their opening game, and will be looking to bounce back when they host Birmingham City at Landore on Monday, September 1.
Swans U21s: David Cornell, Connor Roberts, Raheem Hanley, Scott Tancock (capt), Stephen Kingsley, Henry Jones (Kris Scott, 70), Adam King, Kurtis March, Liam Shephard (Gallifuoco, 60), Kenji Gorre (Ryan Hedges, 80), Alex Samuel.
