Ticketing News

Swans fans can now go digital to gain access to fixtures at the Liberty Stadium after the launch of a unique in-app ticketing service- which also reduces all online booking fees.

From today all online booking fees – for print at home, e-ticketing and to post – have now been reduced from £1.60 to £1.25 per ticket, and the additional £1.25 transaction charge has now been removed. This includes all online transactions, not just for the App.

Developed in conjunction with our partners Sports Alliance, Other Media and Ticketmaster, the new In-App ticketing option is believed to be the first of its kind available for football clubs in the UK.

From this moment forwards, Swans fans will be able to purchase their tickets online and display them via their mobile phones at the turnstile to gain entry to all football fixtures at the Liberty Stadium.

The service will also be rolled out to season ticket holders for the 2018-19 campaign, although season cards will also remain fully operational going forward as an additional option.

“We’ve been informed that we are the first football club in the UK to introduce In-App ticketing which, if true, is an added bonus for the club and our fans.” explained Swansea City’s digital media manager Rebecca Symmons.

The In-App ticketing facility is simple to use…

Once logged on to our online ticketing site, the function previously named ‘Print At Home’ is now re-named ‘E-Ticket’.

You can then either log in to the Official Swans App to view your ticket, print off a paper ticket or request a match ticket through the post.

For more detail on how to purchase an E-TICKET please click below for a step-by-step guide:

Furthermore, if you have already purchased a ‘Print At Home’ ticket with your new Swans Club Account for our home fixtures against Liverpool or Arsenal, you will be able to download the Official Swans App, sign in to your account and see your In-App ticket. You can then choose to either use this barcode for entry or the print-at-home copy. If you already have the Offical Swans App open then please close down all screens and re-open before logging in to retrieve your ticket details.

Please note the scanners will only allow you to use one barcode for entry and the other code will become void once used.

If you haven’t created your Swans Club Account please do so HERE as you will need to sign in to your Swans Club Account on the Official Swans App to access your In-App tickets.

The free Official Swans App, which has been designed to heighten the fan experience, has all the information Swans fans need from live match updates, breaking news, interviews, interactive games such as predict the score and team, tables, fixtures, player profiles with player-on-player in-game stats, plus dedicated Jack Army and Junior Jacks sections.

NOTE: The tickets will be presented in the purchaser’s app under the “Tickets tab” if you use the scrolling navigation bar, with all ticket purchases by the account holder also visible in the ‘Jacks tab’ of the app.

It is advised that if a group booking is made where the group will not be arriving together, it is best to print the tickets at home (these will also be sent to the purchasers registered email address) and handed out to all relevant parties before the game.
