Borja targets first start

19th September

Record signing Borja revealed a first Swansea City start would be "perfect" after the striker made his long-awaited debut.
The Spaniard came off the bench in Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Southampton, with Borja making his first appearance for the Swans since his £15.5million move from Atletico Madrid in August.
A thigh injury meant Borja had to patiently wait to make his debut for Francesco Guidolin's side, who were beaten by Charlie Austin's 63rd-minute winner at St Mary's.
Next up for the Swans is an EFL Cup tie with holders Manchester City at the Liberty on Wednesday.
And Borja is hoping to get the nod to play from the start as he targets his first appearance in front of the Jack Army at the Liberty.

"I am happy to play my first game in the Premier League. The result was not good, but finally I got onto the pitch to make my debut for Swansea," said Borja, who replaced captain Jack Cork in the 81st minute.
"I had to wait a while to do it because of injury, which was frustrating, but now I hope to play more and more.
"I would really like to play on Wednesday night. I feel good and fit, and the manager will decide if I start the game.
"If I do start, that would be perfect, because I am ready to play from the start if needed.
"I am looking forward to playing in front of the Swansea fans at the Liberty."
