Carry on performing, says Swansea City defender Kyle Naughton

13th August

Kyle Naughton has urged the Swans to follow up last weekend's impressive draw at Chelsea by picking up a first league win of the season on Saturday.
Garry Monk's side earned rave reviews after holding the defending champions to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on the opening day of the campaign thanks to goals from Andre Ayew and Bafe Gomis.
Now the Swans take in their first home game of the campaign as Newcastle United visit the Liberty on Saturday (3pm).
And Naughton believes his team-mates must build on the result against Chelsea by picking up a positive outcome against Steve McClaren's Newcastle.
"When you play so well in a game like we did last week against Chelsea, it's hugely important that you carry that performance into the next game," said the right-back.
"It's no good playing so well one week and not turning up in the next game. It's important that we build from the performance and result at Chelsea and take it into Saturday's game against Newcastle.
"This weekend is another big game for us, and it's great to be back at the Liberty playing in front of our fans.
"With their support pushing us on, hopefully we can pick up our first win of the season and build momentum."
You can watch the Swans take on Newcastle this Saturday by purchasing tickets online, in person at the ticket office and via 0844 815 6665.
