Steve Cooper hopes Jamal Lowe can keep his hot streak going after the Swansea City forward added another brace to his tally against Watford.

The 26-year-old now has eight goals to his name, including six in his last six appearances.

He brought the Swans level against the Hornets with a superb curling effort from the edge of the area, before netting the winner with a close-range header from Korey Smith’s cross.

And Cooper is delighted to see Lowe getting the rewards for his efforts.

“He’s just got to keep going, I’ve said before even when he wasn’t scoring he was playing really well,” said Cooper.

“He’s a great lad, works hard, wants to learn, he wants to get better and he’s a good player.

“I thought his goals were brilliant, the first one was Jamal being Jamal in terms of getting into a good area, being really positive and showing great technique to score.

“He used the defender as a bit of a marker to bend it round him.

“The second goal was a number nine goal; Korey is in a crossing area, it’s a brilliant ball and he was where he should be in between the goals in the six-yard box ready to score.

“We’re really pleased with Jamal. He will get the headlines, I’m sure, but everyone was brilliant today.”
