Courtney Baker-Richardson will be suspended for Swansea City’s next three matches following his red card at Millwall on Saturday.

The striker was sent off just five minutes into his Football League debut for a tackle on Lions defender James Meredith.

Baker-Richardson will now be banned for the Swans’ home clash with Nottingham Forest on September 15 as well as the trips to Stoke (September 18) and Middlesbrough (September 22).

He will be free to play again when the Swans host Queens Park Rangers on September 29.

Graham Potter insisted there was no malice in the challenge which prompted Baker-Richardson’s dismissal, but the Swans boss said he understood referee Graham Scott’s decision.
