Daniel James is set for a scan on his hamstring on Tuesday as Swansea City wait to discover the extent of the injury he suffered at Derby County.
James limped off late on as the Swans were beaten 2-1 at Pride Park.
Swans boss Graham Potter was hopeful in the immediate aftermath of the game that the winger, who has been in impressive form, had not picked up a serious problem.
But the Swans are now waiting for the scan results to determine the exact nature of the injury.
“Dan just felt his hamstring,” Potter said over the weekend.
“He has had problems before – he is a sprinter – but it was more that it didn’t feel right than anything.”
