Martin Hayes scored the only goal as the Swans signed off August with a narrow 1-0 win over Huddersfield Town at the Vetch in 1993.

It proved a fourth successive victory in all competitions for the Swans, having beaten Wrexham, Bristol City and Barnet in the league and cup.

The campaign would end with a mid-season finish, with Frank Burrow's side sitting 13th in the Second Division.
