One of the Swans' final festive fixtures at Vetch Field ended in victory over Boston United on this day in 2005.

Having romped to  5-1 victory at Kidderminster Harriers on Boxing Day, Kenny Jackett's team returned home to face Boston just 48 hours later.

And the Swans' happy Christmas continued as Lee Trundle put them in front after just four minutes.

Winger Adrian Forbes doubled the home side's lead on 21 minutes before Marc Goodfellow made it 3-0 just six minutes later.

Boston pulled a goal back late on through Jason Lee, but by then Swans were home and dry.

Jackett's side would go on to seal promotion from what is now League Two in a memorable final season at the Vetch.
