Andy Robinson inspired Swansea City to their first home win under Roberto Martinez on March 16, 2007.

The midfielder scored one and made the other as the Swans beat Chesterfield 2-0 to move into the League One play-off places.

Martinez's side were on a three-match unbeaten run when they welcomed relegation-threatened Chesterfield for the Friday night showdown at the Liberty.

Meanwhile, this was the Spireites’ first match under new manager Lee Richardson after a run of four consecutive defeats led to the departure of Roy McFarland.

Nevertheless, the visitors held their own and limited the Swans, who went close to opening the scoring in the first half when Dennis Lawrence hit the bar.

But despite struggling to find a way through, the hosts finally broke the deadlock from the penalty spot in the 75th minute, as Robinson tucked away his seventh goal of the season.

Robinson turned provider for the second just two minutes later with his corner headed in by Izzy Iriekpen to secure the Swans' third win in four games.
