Swansea City put four past Bournemouth to go top of League One on this day in 2007.

More than 1,500 Swans fans made the journey to the South Coast to watch Roberto Martinez’s side pick up their fourth away win of the season.

It was an impressive display from the Swans against a Bournemouth side featuring the likes of Adam Lallana, Sam Vokes and former England international Darren Anderton.

Ferrie Bodde scored his first goal for the Swans with a stunning free-kick before Dennis Lawrence put the visitors 2-0 up, heading home from a Darren Pratley corner.

Lee Bradbury’s penalty pulled one back for Bournemouth, but a brace from former Cherries striker Warren Feeney secured the points for the visitors.
