Three goals in seven minutes for the Swans secured an emphatic 4-0 victory for Michael Laudrup’s side against Sunderland in Gus Poyet’s first game in charge of the Black Cats in 2013.

Phil Bardsley's own goal broke the deadlock after he directed Angel Rangel's header from a Jonathan de Guzman corner in the 57th minute.

Just a minute later, de Guzman doubled the Swans’ advantage with a superb curling effort.

Wilfried Bony scored from the spot just minutes later after Leon Britton had been brought down in the box by Craig Gardner.

A Chico Flores header was then deflected off Sunderland’s Steven Fletcher in the 80th minute to seal the 4-0 win for the hosts.

The 2013/14 season saw the Swans finish in 12th position in the Premier League after Garry Monk took charge in February 2014 following Michael Laudrup’s dismissal.
