Draw was fair result, says Angel

27th October

Angel Rangel believes a draw was a fair result as the Swans were denied back-to-back league wins by West Ham.
After an even first half, the home side turned the screw in the second period but were kept at bay by Hammers goalkeeper Jussi Jaaskelainen.
Michael Laudrup's side were also denied a penalty in stoppage time as Joe Cole appeared to handle Nathan Dyer's cross.
But the Swans moved into the top half of the table and Angel believes a draw was the right result.

"It is mixed emotions really," he said. "It was a tough game for us, against a physical side, but I think when you look at it overall it was a fair result.
"We couldn't really play our own game. We like to open up the whole pitch and be as creative as we can in the last third, but we lacked that.
"But they are an experienced side and they denied us space. They were also very dangerous from set pieces and I think we have to be happy with a point in the end.
"The last-minute decision with the penalty could have been given - I thought it hit his arm.
"But we'll move on from here, we have four points out of six this week and we sit in the top half of the table."
The Swans now turn their attention to next Sunday's clash against Cardiff.
It is the first time that the two sides have met in the Premier League following the Bluebirds' promotion from the Championship last season.
And Angel, a veteran of sorts of the south Wales derby, is anticipating another exciting encounter in the capital.
"It's another game that everyone is looking forward to," he said. "But it is a special one because it is the first time that we have met in the Premier League.
"And we want to win it not just for ourselves, but for the fans as well."
