Fabianski targets Euro 2016 knockout stage

21st June

Swansea City goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski hopes to help Poland reach the last 16 of Euro 2016 today when they face Ukraine (5pm) in their final group fixture.
Poland need to avoid defeat against their fellow 2012 hosts, who are without a point so far, in order to guarantee themselves a place in the knockout stages.
Despite being among the unused substitutes in the opening victory over Northern Ireland, Fabianski was recalled between the sticks as he kept a cleansheet in the 0-0 draw with Germany.
He hopes to join fellow Swans team-mates Ashley Williams and Neil Taylor in the next round after they helped Wales win Group B following a sensational 3-0 victory over Russia.
