Cardiff City stadium

Ahead of Saturday’s south Wales derby against Cardiff City, we would like to remind supporters of the procedures in place for those attending the fixture.

The Swans travel to Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday, September 16 with kick-off at 7.45pm.

For those supporters who have purchased a ticket and travel package, the club want to ensure you have all the information you need in advance of matchday.

This information has already been emailed to all those who have purchased ticket and travel packages.

PARKING AND ARRIVALS AT THE SWANSEA.COM STADIUM

Coaches will depart from the Swansea.com Stadium and all supporters are asked to arrive no later than 3.30pm. Coach boarding will begin from 4pm.

Supporters wishing to park at the stadium will be able to do so from 2pm. Access to the site will be via the roundabout near Harvester, and supporters will be directed to park in the North Car Park.

FOOD AND DRINK

The West Stand concourses will be open from 3pm on Saturday for people to buy soft drinks and food. The toilet facilities in these areas will be open.

Fans are permitted to take food and soft drinks onto the coaches, however drinks bottles must be sealed.

Supporters are welcome to bring their own food and drink to consume on the coaches, but again all bottles must be sealed when boarding.

BOARDING THE COACHES AND ID CHECKS

As mentioned above, coach boarding will begin from 4pm.

There will be a steward on the door of each coach, and all fans will have their photo ID checked against their travel voucher prior to boarding and bags searched before boarding the coaches.

Examples of photo ID include a passport, driving licence or official student card.

If you do not have a photo ID, or require further guidance or assistance, then please email support@swanseacity.com and we will be happy to provide information on ID options that will be accepted.

No bags larger than A4 size will be allowed. Additionally, there will be thorough searches prior to boarding the coaches, and any supporters attempting to smuggle alcohol or other prohibited or dangerous items (including, but not limited to, flares and smoke canisters) onto the stadium site will be refused entry, issued with a stadium ban, and will not receive a refund.

Please note the club has a zero-tolerance approach to anti-social behaviour, and anyone found to be displaying such conduct will not be allowed to board the coaches. Under-18s must have an accompanying adult who is 18 or over with them to board the coaches.

TICKET EXCHANGE AND TRAVEL

Once supporters are on their respective coaches, your travel voucher will be exchanged for a valid match ticket. Please note your voucher is not a ticket and will not allow entry to the Cardiff City Stadium.

If your voucher has not arrived by Friday, September 15, please contact the ticket office for a replacement voucher. Your replacement voucher must be collected before Saturday, September 16. The ticket office will be open on Friday, September 15 between 9am and 5pm for collections and re-prints.

Following guidance from South Wales Police, the coaches will now no longer be stopping en route to the Cardiff City Stadium. Instead, all coaches will head direct to the stadium.

Once at the ground, supporters will head straight to the away end at Cardiff City Stadium. After full-time, the club encourages supporters to return to the same coach.

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your magnificent support.
