Injury ends King loan

9th August

A knee injury has ended Adam King’s loan spell at League One side Peterborough United.

The Scottish midfielder was due to stay with The Posh until January 2019 but suffered the injury during the 4-2 friendly victory over Bedford Town last month with the decision taken to recall him.

The 22-year-old has returned to Swansea City for further treatment on the injury which will keep him sidelined for at least 12 weeks.

King, who joined from Hearts in January 2014, featured seven times on loan at League Two side Mansfield Town last season and also played 12 times for the under-23s.
