Jamal Lowe and Swansea City head into this weekend’s clash with Millwall in confident mood, but the forward insists that will not lead to any complacency.

The Swans are among the very early pacesetters in the SkyBet Championship having beaten Preston and Wycombe either side of a home draw with Birmingham.

Lowe opened his account for his new club with a close-range finish in the weekend win over Wycombe, which saw Steve Cooper’s side keep another clean sheet.

Next up are Millwall, who were among Swansea’s rivals for a play-off spot for the majority of last season.

Gary Rowett’s Lions are also unbeaten, claiming victory over Rotherham and drawing against Stoke and Brentford.

And it means Lowe and his team-mates will be taking nothing for granted.

“The mood in the dressing room is positive, obviously we’ve still got work to do and you can never get too complacent,” said the winger.

“But, as a start it has been pretty good, we’re three games in and we haven’t conceded a goal yet, and seven points from nine is a very good record.

“As a team we just want to carry this on now, we don’t want to take our foot off the gas. We want to get a run going and stamp our authority on the league.”
