MATCH REPORT: Swans U18s 3 Charlton U18s 0

2nd November

Swansea City Under-18s produced a dominant performance to earn their second win of the season against high-flying Charlton at Fairwood.
A free-kick from Kyle Copp and a neat finish from striker Owain Jones put the Swans 2-0 up at the break, before defender Aaron Lewis fired home after the interval.
The Under-18s kept their third clean sheet of the season thanks to goalkeeper Lewis Thomas - who was called into action to save a penalty midway through the second half.
"I'm extremely pleased with the boys to get a clean sheet - we have been working on our defensive discipline and balance which was shown today," said coach Cameron Toshack.
"Our first half performance was the best we have delivered over the course of the season against a strong side.
"We managed to limit their chances and create a lot on the counter attack and our midfield and defence also moved the ball really well, which is what we asked of them.
"I thought our front line played with more confidence compared to previous weeks and there was also much better communication along our defensive back line."

SWANS U18s: Lewis Thomas, Arron Lewis, Cai Owens, Joe Rodon, Cameron Gilchrist, Dylan Thomas (Jack Evans, 65), Jamie Latham, Kyle Copp, Dan James, Steve Fallon, Owain Jones.
UNUSED SUBS: Brandon Griffiths, Ashleigh Harries.

Meanwhile, the Under-19s begin their defence of the FAW Youth Cup on Sunday (November 2) when they host Bow Street at Landore (2pm).
