Erwin Mulder has warned Swansea City they cannot let their focus drop as they prepare to face Gillingham in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday (3pm).

Graham Potter’s Swans are on a five-match unbeaten run and moved up to ninth in the Championship table with victory over Sheffield United at the weekend.

They now switch their attentions to the cup as they host the League One Gills at the Liberty Stadium.

While the side managed by Steve Lovell – who hails from Swansea and played two games for the club – may be a division below the Swans, they have already caused an upset after knocking out Cardiff City in the third round.

And goalkeeper Mulder – who kept his eighth clean sheet of the season against the Blades – wants to make sure there is no let-up and Swansea keep their run of three wins in their last four games going.

“We have to look from game to game, we want to go to the fifth round in the FA Cup and then we have to face Birmingham so we have to keep focused,” said the Dutch keeper.

“Winning gives us lots of confidence and I am hopeful we can build on this run and give everything to try and get the next win.”
